  1. This is my announcement that I eagerly await your posts. Will you tell on FB when you post or should I bookmark this page. Yes, a question mark would be grammatically correct but the vocal tones say “statement.” So you get a period instead. I know that now that you’ve done Moldova, you’re adaptable enough to deal. ::)

  2. 1. Sometimes I link to new posts on Facebook, but not all the time. It’s possible to “follow” a blog without a WordPress.com account by clicking on a “Follow” button that appears to be white text on grey. If you have a WordPress.com account, this button looks different (or maybe there are two buttons; not really sure.) Or you can just catch up whenever I post on Facebook.
    2. You have noticed something about English questions that we native speakers are usually not conscious of. I learned about these from a community college ESL teacher: essentially, yes-no questions end in a downward note, while questions requiring an information answer end in an upward note.
